Essay contest: use your voice

This opportunity is open to all college students who have something to share about civil discourse! No matter where you are in your journey with civil discourse, the Bateman team wants to hear from you.

Belmont University Public Relations Student Team is hosting an essay contest concerning civil discourse. 

 

In 650-1000 words, write a narrative essay please answer the following questions:

 

  1. Describe what civil discourse means to you. 

  2. Where do they see it in your life, or how have you been affected by a lack of it? 

  3. How can you model civil discourse in your own life?

 

Essays will be judged based on clear focus surrounding the questions above, clear narration, and descriptive detail.

Essay submissions are due Feb. 28 at 11:59 P.M.

 

The results will be announced on March 3, and the winner will receive a $50 gift card.
